A Little About
|
My Interests
Currently, I am the Donations Coordinator for the Crocheting for a Cause club on campus; where we knit and crochet baby hats and blankets that are then donated to Howard University Hospital at the end of the semester. I am also a member of two honors societies: the Office of Multi-Ethnic Student Education's Academic Excellence Society (OAES) and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS). I hope to remain a part of these organizations for the rest of my time at UMD and to keep tutoring with Lakeland STARS. After I graduate from UMD, I want to pursue a Masters but I am not sure exactly what I want to study. I am looking into MBA programs and a Masters in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the moment. Career-wise, I am very interested in Human Resources, specifically in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. I look forward to learning more about HR and exploring different areas within it. All in all, I am excited to try new things and keep growing as a person.
